The saga between Machi Big Brother and ZachXBT has seemingly come to a close. Machi originally sued ZachXBT over defamation for his medium article alleging the theft of 22,000 Ethereum through various rugged projects. Taking a look at the article now, it has now been updated by ZachXBT with Machi’s commentary and response throughout the document. It seems this was a satisfactory solution to settle the lawsuit and avoid going to trial through a convoluted and difficult legal process. Ultimately, this is likely a net win for ZachXBT and the crypto space overall. Frivolous lawsuits typically hurt the smaller party and Machi was unable to use his wealth to bully ZachXBT into hiding the truth. Machi’s edits to ZachXBT’s documents were minimal and, frankly, unconvincing.
