Whereas X2Y2 was the primary royalty-optional marketplace for a long time, Blur’s entrance as an aggregator and a royalty-optional marketplace threatens X2Y2’s position within this niche. While the details of their specific fight are likely not relevant for the long term, it will be important to be mindful of this royalty-optional trend moving forward.

  Blur and @PacmanBlur is a savage. Earlier today @the_x2y2 revoked blurs api keys because they were using too many but you may notice that x2y2 listings are still purchasable on blur. What blur did was use @gemxyz api to show x2y2 items on blur and avoid direct api interaction!
