NiftyNoon: Memeland Finally Reveals Mint Date and Price

In yesterday's Memeland Spaces, the team revealed more details on the highly anticipated Captainz mint (December 9, 2022)

• In an announcement released on Twitter Thursday morning, Memeland revealed the date and pricing for the much-hyped and forthcoming Captainz mint. When the Captainz NFT is minted on Wednesday, January 4, qualified minters will pay 1.069 ETH for each Captainz NFT. An official mint date has not yet been announced, but additional information is coming soon. The Captainz mint will be available first to Memelist wallet holders, then Potatoz and Waitlist holders. Memeland has been steadily disclosing details about its mint features over the last few weeks, most recently stating that it will use a waiting system based on community voting.

• OpenSea has come under criticism for its marketplace fees, which are typically 3% of the sale price of each asset. Critics have argued that this fee is too high compared to other marketplaces and can be a disincentive for users to list items on the platform. Additionally, some users have expressed frustration with the lack of transparency surrounding the fees and difficulty understanding how they are calculated.
