NiftyNoon: Is Memeland's Memecoin Finally Coming?

After much anticipation, Memeland finally shares concrete details for its upcoming Memecoin drop (September 26, 2023)

Nifty Thought

• Once the champion of the bear market, Memeland has lost all of its momentum in recent months due to continued delays for its Memecoin release. However, with the success of rising platforms such as FriendTech, Ray (9GagCEO) and his team have begun to feel pressured to finally release their own SocialFi platform. So far, much of the hype and anticipation surrounding Memecoin has resulted in very little. While many are hopeful that this time will truly be different, it is important to recognize how much hype and speculation is still fueling this project. Launching a truly successful product that sticks with consumers is atypical and should therefore not be the base expectation for any team. While Ray has certainly outperformed the norm in the past, people like Kevin Rose have demonstrated that web2 notoriety does not necessarily translate to web3 success.
