• Jack Butcher’s ascent to NFT stardom in 2023 has been nothing short of spectacular. While his initial claim to fame was with his celebrated Checks open edition, his opepen profile pictures have completely taken over NFT Twitter lately. Major influencers and even NFT brands have changed their Twitter profile pictures into Opepen derivatives to celebrate Jack and his work.

• While this entire Opepen-mania is exciting and Jack’s work is undeniably excellent, this may be a unique bear market opportunity to take profits. The liquidity headwinds impacting the market have not disappeared. The hype and mania surrounding any project almost always dies down over time and so too will the demand pressure.
