• Meta’s introduction of its Instagram NFT marketplace for Polygon is potentially game changing. Although the fees (between Apple/Google and Instagram) will likely be high, this is still an opportunity to introduce digital collectibles to a large mainstream audience. Furthermore, the creator centric approach Instagram is taking with NFT-creation tools and artist launch partners has the potential to attract interest from large influencers on the platform. This may prove effective as these influencers can onboard their existing audience into Web 3.
