• Bitcoin Ordinals, also known as Bitcoin NFTs, have been the buzz of the town, with over 100,000 NFTs joining the blockchain network in less than two weeks, 535 of which are DeGods, Solana's most well-known project. Frank, the CEO of DeGods, migrated NFTs to Bitcoin because he is a long-time supporter of the network. Yet, Bitcoin maximalists are strongly opposing Ordinals for adding to network congestion and increasing transaction gas fees.

• The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has filed a securities fraud lawsuit against Terraform Labs and its founder, Do Hyeong Kwon, according to court records. The lawsuit alleges that Kwon and his company made false and misleading statements to investors about the safety and security of their investments in the Terraform Labs' blockchain platform. The SEC claims that Kwon and his team misrepresented the platform's capabilities and failed to disclose significant risks to investors. The lawsuit seeks disgorgement of ill-gotten gains, penalties, and a permanent injunction against Kwon and Terraform Labs from violating securities laws in the future.
