• The launch of Manifold Gallery as a 0% platform fee marketplace is welcome in a world where many marketplaces are instead implementing mandatory platform fees and making creator royalties optional. Manifold Share Affiliate Links are clearly geared toward curators that are now financially incentivized to promote the site. Similarly, the custom on-chain sales mechanics for open editions is a feature that will be very welcome to creators and artists. It is apparent that Manifold is focusing on capturing the sell side by developing features for artists and art brokers in the hopes that the buy side will follow. Initial public reception for Manifold has been overwhelmingly positive thus far. It is wise to keep an eye on this platform to see if it can capture significant marketshare.
