The legal battle between Yuga Labs and Thomas Lehman has finally ended (February 7, 2023)

• The legal saga between Yuga Labs and Thomas Lehman over the RR/BAYC project is finally settled. While Thomas Lehman has released a statement apologizing to Yuga Labs and disavowing his previous negative remarks about them, it likely will not change much. The controversy surrounding Bored Ape Yacht Club will persist. Those that believe the collection’s imagery is deliberately racially charged will continue to do so. This was a strong public relations win for those that already believed in the project but this is not the last time the public will hear claims against Yuga Labs. The only path forward is for Yuga Labs to continue building great products and experiences in good faith.
